Lounge Bar
The delightful Lounge Bar at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa provides a warm, cosy atmosphere with an inviting fireplace and sumptuous armchairs. Open to both residents and non-residents of the hotel and leading on to the extended terrace the Lounge is an ideal place to socialise and relax.
Guests may reserve a table in our Lounge Bar for afternoon tea only. Please call +44 1277 829990 to make a booking. Should you wish to order food from our Lounge menu you do not need to book however tables are subject to availability.

Afternoon Tea
Greenwoods Hotel & Spa offers one of the best traditional and sparkling English Afternoon Tea experiences in Essex.
Served 7 days a week, our Afternoon Tea includes a selection of fresh cakes and scones with clotted cream and jam, together with delightful Wiltshire ham, smoked salmon, egg mayonnaise and cream cheese and cucumber finger sandwiches. What’s more only the finest teas are good enough for our traditional English Afternoon Tea so we promise you are in for a treat!
We offer a Vegan Afternoon Tea including a selection of delicious vegan finger sandwiches, vegan scones with jam and a selection of vegan cakes and sweet treats. We kindly ask guests to notify our reservations team of any food intolerance or dietary requirements prior to arrival.
Monday to Friday (January to November):
Traditional or vegan afternoon tea – £32.50 per person
Sparkling afternoon tea (includes glass of bubbles) – £37.50 per person
Saturday and Sunday (January to November):
Traditional or vegan afternoon tea – £36.50 per person
Sparkling afternoon tea (includes glass of bubbles) – £41.50 per person
