Ellis’s Restaurant seats up to 60 guests and is open seven days a week, welcoming both residents and non-residents. Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner or Sunday Lunch, and experience why Greenwoods is one of Essex’s favourite dining destinations.

Monday – Saturday: 6:30am-9.30am, 12pm-1:30pm & 6.30pm-8.30pm
Sunday 8am-10am, 12pm-2pm & 6.30pm-8.30pm

Lounge Bar

Whether it's morning coffee, a light lunch, or a perfectly mixed cocktail, the Lounge Bar offers comfort and sophistication throughout the day. Sink into a leather chair and unwind.

Guests may reserve a table in our Lounge Bar for afternoon tea only. Should you wish to order food from our Lounge menu you do not need to book however tables are subject to availability.

Please note the following dining times:

  • Lunch: 12:00 – 13:30
  • Afternoon Tea: 14:00 – 17:00 (served in the Lounge Bar)
  • Dinner: 18:30 – 20:30

For Afternoon Tea bookings, you may reserve online for up to 8 guests. For parties of more than 8, please contact Reservations on +44 (0)1277 829990 (Option 1) and our team will be delighted to arrange a private room where you’ll be more comfortable.

Please note that tables in the Lounge Bar cannot be booked online. We warmly welcome walk-ins, and tables are subject to availability. Guests are invited to relax and enjoy our Lounge Bar menu, featuring light bites, casual dining, and an extensive drinks selection.
