To help ensure the smooth, safe, and professional running of the hotel throughout the night. The Night Porter will assist guests, carry out security and cleaning duties, support overnight operations, and help prepare the hotel for the following day.
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Part-Time Night Porter to join our team at Greenwoods Hotel & Spa.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can provide excellent guest service during overnight hours. Duties include checking guests in and out, carrying out cleaning duties across the hotel, completing ad hoc administrative tasks, setting up function rooms, and ensuring the hotel remains safe, secure, and presentable throughout the night.
The successful candidate will also assist with guest enquiries, conduct regular checks of the hotel and grounds, support overnight operations, and help prepare the hotel for the following day’s activities. Full training will be provided.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Basic computer literacy and administrative skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to assist across different areas of the hotel
- Full training will be given
- Applicants must be able to drive due to the location of the venue and limited public transport access
Salary / Pay Info:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Hours:
- Part-time role, approximately 3–4 nights per week, working 11 pm – 7 am. Shift patterns may vary from week to week and will include Fridays and Saturdays.
